Social Development reiterates determination to strengthening SASSA grants

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and dedication to increasing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services during an engagement with the company's senior administrators in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of your registered pupils inside the training sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
